You: Hey, is this John?

Them: Yes, who is this??

You: This is Lucas. I heard about your business online and I wanted to invite you to be a guest on our podcast. It’s called (SHOW TITLE). We get a bunch of people listening to it every month in (INSERT DEMOGRAPHIC). I would love to interview you and have you share the story about scaling your business. What do you think? It’s free.

Them: Umm how did you hear about me?

You: I saw you on LinkedIn, really liked what you do at (COMPANY) and wanted to get you on the show.

Them: Sure, I’m free next week.

You: Okay cool, I’ll shoot you an invite now. What’s the best email for you and should I just put down this phone number?

Them: Yes, Friday at 12 PM PST works and you can email me at (EMAIL).

You: Great, got you down.

Them: Cool, and what are we going to talk about?

You: I’m going to be asking you questions about your business and how you have grown so far. Then, I will give you an opportunity to share how people can get in touch with you or purchase your products.

Them: Sounds good! See you then.
